Mike Adams

Mike Adams is no stranger to traditional Western medicine. The son of a Pfizer contractor and a clinical trial tester for some of America's biggest pharmaceutical companies, Mike grew up using prescribed pharmaceuticals, trusting doctors and believing what the FDA reported was safe and in the best interests of the country. Emboldened by his own experience of health transformation, Mike continues to explore and share the truths of natrual nutrition, disease, health and healing. Over the last several years, he has spent more than 10,000 hours studying the true causes of disease vs. health. With the help of his extensive private research library, Mike Adams has authored more than 1,600 articles on health, interviewed today's greatest pioneers in alternative medicine, and completed dozens of books and special reports on the subject.

Since then, Mike has founded NaturalNews.com, an online news source covering all areas of personal and planetary wellness from nutrition to renewable energy.  Here, he’s written thousands of articles and built a following of over 800,000 people across the globe.

Mike has also founded a non-profit organization, The Consumer Wellness Center, an online retail center, Better Life Goods, and the popular publishing company, Truth Publishing.  Mike speaks frequently at national and local gatherings like the Amazon Herb Summit and the Raw Foods Challenge in Los Angeles.

Callum Coats

Callum Coats was born in London on the 19th July 1939, but by the age of thirteen he had already seen a great deal of the world. His parents were internationally involved in the Theosophical Society which resulted in long periods in India and other non-European countries. He was at school at Gordonstoun in Scotland, renowned for its enlightened educational ideas, with a final year at its sister Salem School in Germany, and he speaks French and German fluently. In 1967 received a mas- ter's degree in architecture from the Architectural Association in London, practis- ing first in London and then in Queensland, Australia where he now lives.

Callum first heard about the ideas of Viktor Schauberger at the age of 17, but it was not until February 1977 that his mother introduced him to Viktor's physicist and mathematician son Walter Schauberger. Astonished that no material on these ecologi- cally important ideas was available in English, he decided to abandon architecture and devote himself to their study.

Callum spent three years working full-time with Walter at his Pythagoras-Kepler System Institute in Lauffen, Austria, and studying Viktor's archives. He helped revise the translation of Living Water, the introductory work of Viktor Schauberger by Olof Alexandersson (Pub. 1981). In the intervening fifteen years, Callum has devoted all his resources and time to writing Living Energies and to translating, collating and editing Viktor Schauberger's books, articles and letters into the major archive of his work: the 4 vols. Ecotechnology series, subtitled Viktor Schauberger's own writings on Subtle Energies in Nature.

Callum Coats has always had an abiding interest in Nature and natural phenomena. He is an accomplished speaker, and any en- quiries about Schauberger's ideas, and about lectures, should be addressed to him care of the publishers.

John Taylor Gatto was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, a river town thirty-five miles southeast of Pittsburgh where his grandfather, Harry Taylor Zimmer, was the town printer in the days when printers still honored their descent from Peter Zenger. John attended public schools in Swissvale, Monongahela, and Uniontown, and the private Catholic boarding school in Latrobe, all towns in western Pennsylvania.

As a boy he held many jobs: sweeper in his grandad's printing office, snow shoveler, lawn mower, Kool-Ade and comic book salesman, and delivery boy for the Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph and Uniontown Morning Herald, among others. He did undergraduate work at Cornell, the University of Pittsburgh, and Columbia, then served in the U.S. Army medical corps at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Following army service he did graduate work at the City University of New York, Hunter College, Yeshiva, the University of California, and Cornell.

After college, Mr. Gatto worked as a scriptwriter in the film business, was an advertising writer, a taxi driver, a jewelry designer, an ASCAP songwriter, and a hotdog vendor before becoming a schoolteacher. During his schoolteaching years he also entered the caviar trade, conducted an antique business, operated a rare book search service, and founded Lava Mt. Records, a documentary record producer, which won several awards for cover design and content, and which presented the horror of H.P. Lovecraft, dramatized, and the speeches of Richard M. Nixon and Spiro Agnew, exactly as given.

He climaxed his teaching career as New York State Teacher of the Year after being named New York City Teacher of the Year on three occasions. He quit teaching on the OP ED page of the Wall Street Journal in 1991 while still New York State Teacher of the Year, claiming that he was no longer willing to hurt children. Later that year he was the subject of a show at Carnegie Hall called "An Evening With John Taylor Gatto," which launched a career of public speaking in the area of school reform, which has taken Gatto over a million and a half miles in all fifty states and seven foreign countries. In 1992, he was named Secretary of Education in the Libertarian Party Shadow Cabinet, and he has been included in Who's Who in America from 1996 on. In 1997, he was given the Alexis de Tocqueville Award for his contributions to the cause of liberty, and was named to the Board of Advisors of the National TV-Turnoff Week.

Jim Marrs

Jim Marrs was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on 5th December 5, 1943. His father, a strict Baptist, sold structural steel for a company in St. Louis. Marrs began working as a journalist while at junior high school. After graduating from University of North Texas in 1966 he attended Graduate School at Texas Tech in Lubbock.

After graduating from University of North Texas he joined the United States Army. On his release in 1968 he joined the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He served as police reporter and general assignments reporter covering stories locally, in Europe and the Middle East. After a leave of absence to serve with a Fourth Army intelligence unit during the Vietnam War, he became military and aerospace writer for the newspaper and an investigative reporter.

Marrs began to take an interest in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. After interviewing several members of the Dallas Police Department he became convinced him that the Warren Commission was a cover-up. Marrs continued to investigate the case and interviewed several important witnesses as well as city and county officials.

In 1976 Marrs began teaching a course about the assassination for the University of Texas at Arlington. He left the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 1980 and worked as a freelance journalist while continuing to investigate the death of Kennedy. Marrs eventually became convinced that Lee Harvey Oswald had been set up by the government and in 1989 he published Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy. Published to critical acclaim and reached the New York Times Paperback Non-Fiction Best Seller list in mid-February 1992. It also became a basis for the Oliver Stone film JFK and he served as a chief consultant for both the film's screenplay and production.

Since 1980, Mr. Marrs has been a freelance writer, author and public relations consultant. He also published a rural weekly newspaper along with a monthly tourism tabloid, a cable television show and several videos.

Beginning in 1992, Mr. Marrs spent three years researching and completing a non-fiction book on a top-secret government program involving the psychic phenomenon known as remote viewing only to have it mysteriously canceled as it was going to press in the summer of 1995. Within two months, the story of military-developed remote viewing broke nationally in the Washington Post after the CIA held a press conference revealing the program but putting their own spin on psychic studies. Psi Spies is now available from JimMarrs.com.

In May, 1997, Marrs' in-depth investigation of UFOs, Alien Agenda, was published by HarperCollins. Marrs has been a featured speaker at a number of national conferences including the Annual International UFO Congress and the Annual Gulf Breeze UFO Conference. Publisher's Weekly described the book as "the most entertaining and complete overview of flying saucers and their crew in years." The paperback edition was released in mid-1998 and has since become the best-selling UFO book ever in the United States. Beginning in 2000, he began teaching a course on UFOs at the University of Texas at Arlington.

In early 2000, HarperCollins published Rule by Secrecy, which traced the hidden history that connects modern secret societies to the Ancient Mysteries. In 2003, his book The War on Freedom probed the conspiracies of the 9/11 attacks and their aftermath.

Other books by Jim Marrs includes Inside Job: Unmasking the 9/11 Conspiracies (2004), Terror Conspiracy, The: Provocation, Deception and 9/11 (2006) and Rise of the Fourth Reich (2008)

Cynthia Mckinney

Known for her fiery rhetoric and willing to court controversy, Cynthia McKinney is one of the most widely known members of the United States Congress. She is the daughter of Billy and Leola McKinney, an ambitious couple with high hopes for their daughter. Her father was a policeman, at a time when that was dangerous for an African-American, and her mother was a nurse. In 1972, her family became prominent when Billy McKinney was elected to the state House of Representatives.

In school, she was a capable and strong-willed student and is known for taking after her outspoken father. She attended college in California, graduating with a Masters of Art in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. Her political career began unexpectedly in 1986 when her father submitted her name as a write-in candidate for state Representative in a district near his. To her surprise, she polled some 40%, and encouraged by her showing, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and ran in 1988. She won that election, and immediately made an impact for a combative demeanor and left wing views. She was not popular with most of her colleagues, but was secure in her district. In 1992, redistricting created a new, African-American majority district, and she ran. After some difficulty, she won the Democratic primary against more moderate opponents. In 1994, the Supreme Court ruled that her district was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander, and a new district centered on African-American dominated DeKalb County, a suburban county northeast of Atlanta. She moved there and won with little fuss.

Her outspoken ways generated some negative publicity, as did her anti-Israeli, pro-Arab views on foreign policy. She faced a serious challenge in 1996, and was embarrassed when her father called her Republican opponent "a racist Jew", but won comfortably. She won the next two elections without incident, but after terrorists bombed the World Trade Center in New York City, she caused an uproar when she claimed that President George W. Bush had prior knowledge of the impending attacks. In 2002 she was challenged in the Democratic primary by DeKalb County Judge Denise Majette, who attacked McKinney for frequent foreign travel in office and accused her of ineffectiveness. McKinney and was soundly defeated. Her father was defeated that same year, after 30 years in the state legislature.

Her political career seemed to be over, but in 2004, Majette ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate. McKinney sought to return to Congress and succeeded. In the beginning of her new term, she kept a low profile and managed to avoid controversy. However, in early 2006, she made negative headlines again. When a Capitol Hill security guard didn't recognize her and blocked her from entering Congress, she struck him with her cell phone and cursed him. She generated criticism around the country and embarrassed her own party's leadership. After initially accusing the guard of racism, she backed down and apologized. However, the incident just reminded her constituents of why they had rejected her before.

In the 2006 Democratic primary runoff, she lost to DeKalb County Commissioner Hank Johnson by an even larger margin than she had lost to Majette in 2002. This appears to be the end of her career in elected office.

Dee Nicholson

Winnipeg-born Dee Nicholson describes herself as a “Truth Seeker". She takes pride in her special ability to see through propaganda and paradigms, and wields her pen like a sword for our rights as Canadians and part of the human family.

The author of two books, she is a degreed metaphysician, Reiki Master, and life coach, as well as an activist for human rights, especially the right to choose our food, medicine, and health care.

Today finds Dee delving into the real nature of the health care system world-wide, and exposing the fist of controls tightening around our health freedoms, notably through the World Health Organization’s Codex Alimentarius Committee.  She was one of the first in the health freedom movement to point to Canada’s expanding loss of sovereignty and ultimate vulnerability to regulations set by foreign, unelected committees of her trade group memberships.

Dee is the National Director of Communication for Freedom in Canadian Health Care, which is a charter group member of Canadians for Health Freedom. She is a frequent blogger on the site, offering commentary on a wide range of topics.

Amanda O'Keefe

Born in New Jersey, 1986, Amanda O’Keefe is an artist currently living and working in the Northeast US.
Her interest in creation stems from the idea of art as a tactile communication that elicits psychological and perceptual discoveries. The diverse processes of her work involve a metamorphosis of material, structure, and imagery; exploring aspects of tension that lie between beauty, fragility, aggression.
In papermaking she found a meditative form of experimentation that deals with the decomposition and reformulation of organic matter. This interest complements her printed and drawn imagery: usually abstracted or fractured; inspired by biological, mechanical, and personal matters of subject. She integrates three-dimensional forms into some of her works, structures with which various stretched materials develop symbiotic relationships. She continues to explore manners of constructed material evolutionism, and the influence that layers, translucency, and form have upon a given environment.
